The Top Diets to Shred Belly Fat
Many people have this problem. You work your butt off trimming the fat and toning up your muscles, but for some reason you can’t seem to ditch those love handles. You cut out sodas, and energy drinks, maybe you’ve cut out the booze and still no results. The frustration can be enough to make you want to pull your hair out! Well, here are a few diets that should help assist you in your quest to a lean and cut mid-section. Check it out:
1.Diets with Less Sugary Drinks.
Perhaps you’ve already cut these out, but it doesn’t’ hurt to reiterate that these drinks are a major cause for fat. Processed foods in general are a huge contributor, but for the sake of keeping things simple we want to highlight sugary drinks. This means, no sodas, no energy drinks, no crafted root beers – all of it. If it comes from an assembly line, it’s probably not healthy for you.
2.Diets that Increase Fermented Food Intake.
Some fermented food examples are miso, sauerkraut, tempeh, and kombucha juice. These products have probiotics which are a friendly bacterium that helps boost immunity, reduce bloating, and help clean your insides. These products have a bit of an acquired taste, but they are definitely good for you.
3. Diets that emphasize Nuts
According to a 2015 study in the Journal of the American Heart Association, people who eat nuts have lower abdominal fat. If science says this will reduce belly fat, then maybe it’s a good idea to ingest more almonds, pistachios, and peanuts. Nuts are higher in mono-saturated fats which are good also known as “Good fats”. Poly-saturated fats, and trans fats are what you want to avoid. Mono-saturated fats are liquid at room temperature which should hopefully give you some idea as to how that will look on your body.
4. Diets that have high Protein
Protein diets have been around for a long time. One of the most famous diets is the Atkins diet. Essentially, these diets emphasize eating more protein rich foods like eggs, fish, fowl, and most importantly, bacon. All protein diets are focused on being low in carbs, lower the carbs, lower the sugar, lower the fat!
5. Diets that include Pulses
Pulses are part of the legume family but focus mostly on the small seeds within the legume. Common examples of this might be dried peas, chickpeas, lentils, and edible beans. They are filled with fiber which helps clean out your body. Pulses help reduce bloat by aiding your nervous system and muscular system.
Dieting is the biggest contributor to weight loss, which is why it is so important to start here. These are just 5 good diets to start with.
